Registration for the City of Alpharetta's school year camps and recreation programs opens at 8:00 AM on July 23 for Alpharetta residents. Non-resident registration begins on the morning of August 6.

For those planning winter and spring break activities, the 2024-2025 School Year Guide is available online. It offers a variety of diversions, healthy activities, and cultural experiences for all ages. The city recommends planning ahead to ensure quick registration for popular programs, which tend to fill up rapidly.

A link to the 2024-2025 School Year Guide is provided at the end of this article, and printed copies are now available in recreation facilities.

For newcomers to these programs and the ActiveNet registration portal, here are some tips:

    • Log in (or sign up) on ActiveNet early as classes fill up quickly.

    • If a desired class reaches full capacity, consider joining the waitlist for an opportunity to enroll.

    • Use the Activity Number listed in the Summer Guide when searching for classes in ActiveNet.

    • Verify your residency status using the Alpharetta GIS Mapping Tool before registering.

The Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Services Department is available to assist with any questions or additional information needed. They can be contacted at recreation@alpharetta.ga.us or 678-297-6100.
