Downtown Alpharetta is hosting a Scarecrow Walking Tour featuring over 150 scarecrows crafted by community members. These displays mark the fall season and are enjoyed by both residents and visitors. The tradition of walking through the scarecrow-lined streets in October continues to be popular.
Participants can take self-guided tours using maps available online at the Scarecrow Harvest Walking Tour Map. Each scarecrow is automatically entered into the Scarecrow Community Competition.
The competition includes categories such as "Laugh Out Loud Crow," "Spookiest Crow," "SchCOOLest Crow," "Best in Show Crow," and "Celebrity Crow." Judging will occur on Tuesday, October 10th, with winners announced during Boo Bash on Saturday, October 19th. The event will offer free activities for children, food, games, and live music at The Grove behind the Alpharetta Community Center from 5:00–8:00 pm. The award ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm.
