Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival returns to Alpharetta this weekend

Final preparations are underway for the Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival, set to take place in Downtown Alpharetta on October 11-12. The festival anticipates drawing over 20,000 music fans with a lineup of forty performances across seven free-admission stages. Additionally, there will be an exclusive ticketed Listening Room, the debut of the Live Art Lounge, and a Music Makers Market.

For the first time, Saturday's events will begin at 11:00 a.m., allowing attendees more time to enjoy a diverse range of musical talent. The festival features over 50 restaurants in Downtown Alpharetta offering various dining options.

The festival promises an eclectic mix of national, regional, and local artists. On Friday night, headliners Sixpence None the Richer will perform. Their hit single "Kiss Me" was one of the top-selling singles of 1999. On Saturday night, Neal Francis will showcase his unique blend of soul and R&B.

The lineup includes:

**Friday:** Sixpence None the Richer, John Paul White, Jason Ringenberg, Sam Burchfield & the Scoundrels, Canon Tyler, Drew Ashworth, Jon Harris, Julia Gribble, Julie Williams, Keena Graham, Kris Youmans, Marcella Simien, Rusted Soul, Scoot Teasley, Steve Baskin and the Fourteens.

**Saturday:** Neal Francis; David Ryan Harris and Friends (Roaring Social listening room ticketed event); Joselyn & the Sweet Compression; Colby T. Helms & the Virginia Creepers; Mikaela Davis; BB Palmer; Blue Velvet Atlanta; Bradley Cole Smith; Catfish and the Bottom; Christiana Alaire; Erin Gibney; FRUTE; Geoffrey Wood; Hunter Callahan; Kate & Corey from Run Katie Run; Kilough; Little Country Giants; Little Hopes; The Lubben Brothers; Madelaine; Rob Jordan; Sarah Clanton; Shakerag and Shelby Mason.

An exclusive Listening Room performance at Roaring Social offers an intimate experience with artists like David Ryan Harris on October 12. Tickets are $30 with proceeds benefiting Alpharetta’s Music Match program.

The new Live Art Lounge will feature live art performances by Rising Tide Studio. Located on Commerce Street near City Hall Stage, it offers interactive experiences alongside limited-edition merchandise.

The Canton Curbside Stage + Music Makers Market provides space for exploring music-themed items from vendors like Urban Lumberjack and Moon Child Studios.

Festivalgoers can preview performers via Spotify or YouTube playlists provided by Wire & Wood. Transportation is facilitated with multiple parking options downtown and ride-share services available at designated spots.
