Alpharetta offers hazardous waste collection event for residents

City of Alpharetta residents can participate in a one-day recycling collection event for household hazardous waste and paint on November 16, 2024. This opportunity is exclusive to those living within the Alpharetta City Limits, with limited participation slots available.

Accepted items include paint, gasoline, chemicals for home and garden use, poisons, and more. Pre-registration is required for participation and must be completed by November 11, 2024. There is no charge for disposing of acceptable items.

Registered participants can drop off their items between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm on the event day. Residents are advised to remain in their vehicles while technicians handle unloading at the site.

To register, complete the pre-registration form by November 11 and bring your confirmation form along with your items on November 16. Items should be transported safely in their original containers.
