Georgia Tech junior Connor Howe came in ninth place at the Patriot All-America Amateur Championship last year, but this year he turned things around with a record-setting back nine on the final day to take the title with a 9-under-par score of 63.

Nov. 30 set for run-off election to decide Atlanta's next mayor

The Atlanta mayoral election will continue on Nov. 30 as none of the candidates running met the 50% requirement. As of 11 p.m. City Council President Felicia Moore was the leader with a total of 33,432 votes, which is 40%.
