The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets women's volleyball team has vaulted to No. 13 in a recent coaches poll, according to a press release.
"Since appearing in the Top 25 at No. 12 on Sept. 30, 2020, Tech has been listed in 31 straight top 25 polls to date," Georgia Tech said in the release.
The Yellow Jackets were ranked No. 16 the previous week. The new ranking follows dominant ACC victories over Clemson and Duke.
The ranking is the school's highest rank since being ranked No. 6 in the 2020 season, the release said.
Georgia Tech has won 47 of its last 56 matches dating back to 2019 season and continue a perfect 7-0 in true road matches so far this season, according to the release.
Outside hitter Julia Bergmann has set the pace, leading the ACC in both points per set and kills per set, and senior setter Matti McKissock has put up strong assist numbers, the release said.
The team as a whole has put up impressive numbers for the season "ranking fourth in the nation and leading the league in kills per set (14.47) while placing 12th in the NCAA and third in the ACC in assists per set (13.16)," according to the press release.
