A Fulton County student told the school board that the mask mandate is ruining schools and making life hell for students.

’’Epic takedown of the #MaskMandate at @FultonCoSchools — this student lets the entire school board know how #masks are ruining school,’’ Phillip Hollaway said in a tweet.

A Fulton County judge denied an emergency request from parents seeking to prevent the Fulton County Schools from requiring students to wear masks, according to CBS 46.

In response, the student decided to tell the school board that masks create a hostile environment at school and asked Fulton County Schools to lift the mask mandate, according to News Thud.

"We hear daily constant yelling by hall staff at students about the masks, yet we see theirs below their noses and chins," the student said. "Don't get me wrong, I love my school and teachers but the environment created from the mask mandate is not welcoming or conducive to learning. I recall years of Fulton County Schools promoting anti-bullying campaigns to get your staff, bully us daily about how we wear our masks."

She argued that masks were supposed to be temporary and followed by weekly updates, however, it hasn’t happened yet, News Thud reported.

"We are in school to get an education, not to be harassed about a mask by the very teachers and mentors we look up to, she said."
