Georgia Tech women’s cross country runner Sarah Copeland has been named ACC Women’s Co-Freshman of the Week. | Georgia Tech
The Atlantic Coast Conference recently named Georgia Tech distance runner Sarah Copeland ACC Co-Freshmen of the Week.
The honor marks the second time this season Copeland has won the award.
"Copeland won the Alexander/Asics Invitational by nearly four seconds and finished 36.36 seconds ahead of the closest true freshman," the school said in a press release.
Copeland won the Alexander/Asics Invitational by almost four seconds and finished 36.36 seconds ahead of the closest true freshman. She is a relative newcomer to this sort of cross country, Georgia Tech said.
