Mentorship Program for 2021-2022

Mentoring

Andrew College recently issued the following announcement.

As we are gearing up for students to return to campus, we are excited to announce that the Mentorship Program will soon be underway for the 2021 – 2022 academic year.  This voluntary program pairs students with professors and staff here at the College who are experienced in certain fields in which the student may be interested.

Students who choose to participate in this program will meet with a mentor to talk about anything they like on a schedule that best suits both parties. Meetings can take place through email, in- person, Zoom, or any other way that works.

Students that participated in the program last year are welcome to continue with their same mentors.  An email will be the best way to let your mentor know that you would like to

continue meeting.

This program gives students a great opportunity to get to know someone who can help them achieve their goals here at the College. Mentors are a great resource to help students get on the right path for entering certain professions, answering questions about navigating life at Andrew College or just being there to

talk about anything.

Andrew’s mentors also have inside information about how to get academic help– what resources Andrew College provides – ways to get involved with the community – whatever.

If you would like to participate in the program, fill out the Participation forms on the first day of ACE class and turn them into your ACE professor. You will also find signup forms

in your Orientation Packets – fill them out and hand them to your ACE professors on the first day of class.

For any additional questions about the program, email Dr. Serafin at: chrisserafin@andrewcollege.edu, for help in signing up or getting a mentor.

Note: Most initial communication will take place through email, so keep an eye on your

Andrew College email accounts so you don’t miss anything.

Here’s to a great year, Tigers!
