Hall County adds first associate Probate Court judge

Court

Hall County added a second Probate Court judge to its courts system last week. Mark Loggins was sworn in by Hall County Probate Court Judge Patty Laine June 8.

“I am honored to have Judge Loggins join me on the bench as we serve the citizens of Hall County, providing them with everything from the issuance of marriage or weapons carry licenses to the handling of estates, guardianships and conservatorships,” said Laine.

Loggins serves as the first associate judge of Hall County Probate Court, a position necessitated by Hall County’s growing population and allowed under state law.

Loggins received his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Georgia. He has practiced law in Gainesville since 2011 and is a Gainesville native.
