Alpharetta sets December 1 as deadline for property tax payments

December 1 is the deadline for property owners in Alpharetta to pay their taxes. Both home and commercial property owners need to ensure payments are made by this date.

To confirm receipt of payment, check account status, or make a payment, residents can visit https://bit.ly/RealEstateTaxes-Alpharetta. Personal property tax accounts related to business inventory or machinery can be checked at https://bit.ly/PersonalPropertyTaxes-Alpharetta.

Payment methods include:

- Online: Use credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit cards, or eCheck (coming soon).

- By phone: Call 678-297-6060 (option 0) for card payments or eCheck.

- By mail: Send checks to P.O. Box 117022, Atlanta, GA 30368-7022. Checks should be payable to the City of Alpharetta with the account number included.

- In person: Visit the Financial Services Division Cashier’s Office at 2 Park Plaza. Payment options include cash, check, money order, credit/debit cards, and digital payments like ApplePay.

- Personal online bank pay: Use bill pay services through financial institutions with payments directed to City of Alpharetta's Financial Services Division.

- QR Code: Scan using a smartphone for online payment options.
