FAITH FORUM:
Taught by our Rector The Rev. Bill Murray in Inglett Hall
How Does Jesus Save?
While the church has wrestled with the nature of the Trinity, the exact nature of the bread and wine, and even how many angels fit on the head of a pin, the church has never come to a definitive teaching of how Jesus saves. During this season of Lent 2020, join the Rev. Dr. Bill Murray and the Rev. Kenya Thompson as they review the 5 major theories of salvation and the problems that each hold for the faithful, for the church, and for God.
WINTER FORMATION OFFERINGS...

(No class April 5, or 12.)
Faith and Fiction
Led by Sally Parsonson, Ph.D
Meets in the Large Conference Room by the Chapel...
The “Faith and Fiction” class began some years ago with the premise that we read literature as a way to understand our own stories. Short-story anthologies have proved an accessible format since each week’s story offers a discrete lesson. Short stories usually end with an implied question, leading to class discussion and, hopefully, enlightenment and understanding. Interested readers are invited to attend, and since each week’s class focuses on a different story assignment from an anthology, it is not essential to attend every week or to read the entire book to participate.
Class will meet through May 17. (No class April 5, or 12.)
