The City of Alpharetta made a pawsitive announcement on Sunday, May 5, with the official opening of the new Webb Bridge Dog Park. The park, a generous donation from the Mulroy Family Foundation, now stands as the latest addition to the Webb Bridge Park Complex.

The vision behind this new public space came from Tim and Michele Mulroy, along with their rescue Golden Retriever, Pebbles. The park features designated areas for both large and small dogs, ensuring there is plenty of room for furry friends to frolic amidst the abundance of trees. The natural aesthetic is maintained with hardwood mulch flooring, adding to its rustic charm.

A special feature of the Webb Bridge Dog Park is a large silhouette of a dog near the main entrance, where owners can place memorial tags for dogs who have passed away, providing a heartfelt way to honor and preserve their memory.

This new facility complements the Waggy World Dog Park, which has been a popular spot for Alpharetta's canine companions since its opening in Wills Park in 2006 and subsequent renovation in 2018. Together, these parks offer safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to socialize and make new furry friends in the community.

The Mulroy Family Foundation, instrumental in making the Webb Bridge Dog Park a reality, was established in 2020 with a mission to support various causes including those related to the environment, healthcare, youth, and animals.

The opening of the Webb Bridge Dog Park signifies another step towards creating a pet-friendly environment in Alpharetta and providing residents with more opportunities to enjoy quality time with their beloved four-legged family members.
