Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the intersection of State Route 9 and Old Milton Parkway. Multiple lanes are closed due to road construction causing heavy congestion and travel delays. Use Westside Parkway, GA400, or North Point Parkway as alternate routes. The lane closures will be in effect all day today, May 1.
