Libero and defensive specialist Cara Bianco has signed onto Georgia Tech volleyball's 2022 roster.

Bianco earned letters during each of her four years at Blessed Trinity High School in Milton, Georgia Tech reported in a release. While with the Titans, she played in four regional championships, as well as a state championship in 2019.

"I am excited for Cara to join our program," Michelle Collier, Georgia Tech volleyball's head coach, said in the release. " She has competed at a very high level during her club and high school career and is going to bring in lots of talent and winning experience into our gym. On top of that, she’s a wonderful teammate and someone who is really going to thrive in this environment!"

Before arriving at Georgia Tech, Bianco played for two all-region teams, two all-state teams, and the American Volleyball Coaches Association's Best and Brightest team of 2021, Georgia Tech reported. She prospered at the club level as well, with medals at the 13 Open American Athletic Union (AAU) nationals, 15 Open AAU nationals, 17 Open AAU nationals and 17 Open USA Volleyball nationals.

The magna cum laude honoree has also done some work in her local community with organizations such as Meals by Grace, Habitat for Humanity and the St. Peregrine Club, Georgia Tech reported.
