Johns Creek residents qualify for 2021 general, special election

City of Johns Creek issued the following announcement on August 18.

Residents qualified as candidates for the Johns Creek City Council 2021 General and Special Election set for Tuesday, Nov. 2. The election is for the Council Seats of Post 1, Post 2, Post 3, Post 5, and the Mayoral Post.

The Special Election will be held to fill the vacancy in the unexpired term for City Council Post 2, as a result of the resignation of Council member Brian Weaver, and the Municipal General Election will be held to fill Council member Posts 1, 3, 5 and Mayor.

John Bradberry and Brian Weaver have qualified as candidates for Johns Creek City Council Mayoral Post. (There is no incumbent for this seat as current Mayor Mike Bodker is not seeking re-election).

Lee Heard Tucker and Dilip Tunki have qualified as candidates for Johns Creek City Council Post 1. (There is no incumbent for this seat as current Post 1 Council Member Lenny Zaprowski is not seeking re-election).

Rashmi Singh and Stacy Skinner have qualified as candidates for Johns Creek City Council Post 2. (There is no incumbent for this seat as former Post 2 Council Member Brian Weaver is not seeking re-election for this post).

Bob Erramilli, Cassandra Littlejohn, and Anthony Shorter have qualified as candidates for Johns Creek City Council Post 3. (There is no incumbent for this seat as current Post 3 Council Member John Bradberry is not seeking re-election for this post).

Pablo Cecere and Larry DiBiase have qualified as candidates for Johns Creek City Council Post 5. (There is no incumbent for this seat as current Post 5 Council Member Stephanie Endres is not seeking re-election).

Johns Creek residents can register to vote on the Georgia Secretary of State website. The last day a person can register is Monday, October 4. Voters can locate their polling place on the My Voter Page website. Early voting beings in select locations on Monday, Oct. 12 and ends Friday, Oct. 29.
