Born June 29, 1995; known for football career

Carl Lawson was born on June 29, 1995. He attended Milton High School in Milton, Georgia, where he became a top football recruit. As a senior, he recorded 27 sacks. He committed to Auburn University and played defensive end. His freshman year saw four sacks, but he missed the 2014 season with a torn ACL. Injuries limited his time at Auburn, but he showed strong potential. In 2017, Lawson was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals. He finished his rookie season with 8.5 sacks and was named to the All-Rookie Team. A second ACL tear in 2018 ended that season early. He signed with the New York Jets in 2021 but missed that season due to an Achilles injury. In 2024, he joined the Dallas Cowboys, briefly appearing on their active roster. Lawson’s football path began in Alpharetta and led to a professional career in the NFL.
