Born June 25, 1989; known for indoor football career
Robert Lee Chapple was born on June 25, 1989. He played college football at Georgia Southern and the University of North Alabama. In 2012, he entered professional indoor football as an undrafted free agent with the Colorado Ice. After failing to make the roster, he joined the Nebraska Danger, then the Columbus Lions, and later the Jacksonville Sharks. He continued his indoor football career with the Omaha Beef, Nashville Venom, and returned again to the Sharks. Chapple was often signed mid-season to fill roster needs. He primarily served as a backup quarterback during his time in the Arena Football League. In 2018, he signed with the Atlanta Havoc of the American Arena League. His playing career included several short-term contracts across indoor football teams. Chapple has lived and trained in Georgia, including time in and around Alpharetta, during his years as a professional athlete.
