Residents of Alpharetta have the opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste and paint at a recycling event scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 2024. The initiative is restricted to individuals residing within the city limits of Alpharetta, with participation capped.
Accepted materials include paint and related substances, old gasoline, home, auto, and garden chemicals, poisons, among other items.
There is no fee for disposing of acceptable items. However, businesses in Alpharetta are not eligible for this service. Registered residents can bring their waste on November 16 between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm. They must remain in their vehicles while technicians unload the items.
To participate, residents needed to submit a completed pre-registration form by Monday, November 11, 2024. Upon registration confirmation via email, participants are required to present this confirmation along with their items on the collection day. Items should be transported safely in their original containers and kept separate.
