Due to safety concerns related to high winds expected from Hurricane Helene, Alpharetta's curbside trash and recycling program will not operate on Friday. Residents are advised not to place their trash or recycling cans outside today.
"If you have already placed your carts at the curbside, please bring them in so they do not become debris or do damage during the storm," officials stated.
Customers who typically receive trash and recycling service on Fridays will now be serviced on Saturday. "Please place your trash/recycling carts at the curbside Friday evening or before 7 AM on Saturday," officials added.
