Black Lives Matter contributions made by Fulton County organizations

By March 22, six organizations registered within Fulton County had donated to the Black Lives Matter movement, according to the BLM Funding Database.

$33,350,000 was donated or pledged by these companies between 2020 and the present date.

The Home Depot, Inc. pledged the highest donation among area organizations and businesses, claiming to commit $12,000,000 to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Of the six organizations which pledged to donate to Black Lives Matter in recent years, one of them was confirmed to have fulfilled its pledge and actually donated the amount of money it said it would. It's unclear or unknown if the other organizations followed through with their pledges.

The Coca-Cola Company$4,000,000$500k contributed to the BLM Global Network Foundation; $3.5 million contributed across the Equal Justice Initiative, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, 100 Black Men of America, the National CARES Mentoring Movement, and other organizations. Sprite partnered with BLM to create and launch the Create Your Future campaign, which encourages young Black and Brown voters to participate in the 2020 election.
Global Payments Inc.$250,000$250k to the United Way of Greater Atlanta's United for Racial Equity and Healing Fund.
Spanx, Inc.$200,000Pledged $100k across BLM, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and Minnesota Freedom Fund. Additional $100k donated to organizations in Atlanta.
