A search of a Fulton County, Georgia, home Sept. 2 led to the seizure of thousands of pills and hundreds of grams of methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine by law enforcement officials, according to a report by Fox 5 Atlanta.
"This case highlights the successful outcome when the community and law enforcement partners unite to eliminate crime in South Fulton," said Police Chief Keith Meadows. "Dangerous drugs such as these have no place in our communities."
According to the report, authorities said the South Fulton Narcotics and Gang Units, South Metro SWAT and Homeland Security agencies were all involved in executing a search warrant at a home off Stonewall Tell Road where a cache of drugs was uncovered at the scene.
During the raid, agents said they found various controlled substances including 3,000 amphetamine pills, 195 grams of Xanax, 564 grams of methamphetamine, 864 grams of heroin, 27 grams of powdered cocaine, 31 grams of crack cocaine and 2,050 grams of marijuana, Fox 5 reports.
Authorities have not yet indicated if any arrests were made in connection with the incident or what charges may have been filed, Meadows told Fox 5.
