Asian American Hotel Owners Association recently issued the following announcement.
AAHOA has an inspiring history. Founded initially to fight racism, this association has grown significantly over the years and represents the entrepreneurial spirit of many generations. AAHOA has approximately 20,000 members who own 60% of the hotels in the United States and are responsible for 1.7% of the nation’s GDP. More than one million employees work at AAHOA member-owned hotels, earning $47 billion annually and providing 4.2 million U.S. jobs across all sectors of the hospitality industry. It is no secret that many AAHOA Members were the driving force behind the innovation we see today in the hospitality industry, giving guests better choices and making properties more profitable.
