Across the nation and in Georgia, Americans are feeling the price pinch at the gas pumps due to inflation, and a Herschel Walker super PAC is using billboards to point blame at his opponent, Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA).

The billboards include the hashtag "#Warnockisn'tWorking," and their messages include, "Inflation hurts families" and "Gas prices are insane," Fox Business reported.

"Our shelves are empty, the supply chain is a mess, and inflation is at the HIGHEST in 40 years," Walker said in a tweet on Jan. 19. "President Biden's approval ratings continue to drop. Why is he focused on social spending? People just want affordable gas and groceries on the shelves!"

The political action committee — named 34N22, a reference to Walker's jersey No. 34 at both the University of Georgia and during his time playing for the NFL — will spend more than $50,000 on the billboard campaign, Fox Business reported.

PAC officials told Fox Business that the billboards will go up across major cities in Georgia, where Walker is a top runner in the pool of Republican candidates vying to win the GOP nomination in the race for U.S. Senate. The billboards will be on display in Atlanta, Augusta, Macon and Savannah.

According to a recent Fox Business poll, inflation and rising costs are at the top of people's minds, with 36 percent of those polled stating it is the biggest issue for the nation's economy. That number was more than twice the next highest issue in the poll, government spending, which came in at 16 percent. Fifty-five percent of those who responded to the poll said they are "extremely" concerned about higher prices and inflation, with another 29 percent stating they are "very" concerned.
