The free Music on the Hill concert series returns to Roswell on Friday, July 9 and returns every second Friday of the month until October.
The Glow Band opens up the concert series, performing hits from The Eagles and other groups from 7 to 9 p.m. at Roswell City Hall at 38 Hill Street, the city's website said.\
“Get ready to spread out your blanket on the lawn at City Hall, unpack your picnic basket, uncork a bottle, and unwind by listening to some of the best live music in Atlanta," Roswell.gov said.
For the best view of the stage, VIP tables that seat eight can be bought online.
This season's line-up includes The Glow Band on July 9, 911 Band performing Motown-Today Variety on Aug. 13, Shaky Jane with acoustic rock and country from the '70s-'90s on Sept. 10 and concluding the concert series with KRP performing funk hits on Oct. 8.
The city offers sponsorship opportunities for local organizations to support the concert series. A $1,000 sponsorship gives a Silver Sponsor a 10x10 designated area at the event, company name/logo on the event banner, its logo on the event website, inclusion in social media posts and a shout-out from the main stage during the sponsored event, the city website said.
Roswell encourages concertgoers to follow CDC-recommended safety protocols at this outdoor event.
