Brandon Beach was born on May 2, 1961, in Louisiana. He earned a bachelor’s degree from LSU and an MBA from Centenary College. He later moved to Georgia.
Beach became active in Alpharetta government. He served on the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council. He also led the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.
In 2012, he was elected to the Georgia State Senate. He took office in 2013, representing District 21. This includes parts of Fulton and Cherokee counties. He served on multiple Senate committees. He chaired the Transportation Committee until 2021.
In 2019, he ran for Congress but later withdrew. In 2024, he co-sponsored a bill aimed at cutting state funding to certain libraries.
Beach was involved in efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. He was later targeted in a criminal investigation.
In March 2020, he attended a Senate session while sick with COVID-19. This led to statewide quarantine protocols.
In 2025, Beach was appointed U.S. Treasurer. His public service career has close ties to Alpharetta.
