Madison Lintz was born on May 11, 1999, and grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia. Her mother was an actress, while her father worked in real estate. Lintz began her acting career at the age of six, initially appearing in commercials and voice-over roles. She landed her first significant role in 2010 as Sophia Peletier on the television series The Walking Dead, where she remained for two seasons. Following this, she appeared in other television programs, including Nashville. In 2015, Lintz took on the role of Maddie Bosch in the series Bosch, which aired until 2021. She reprised this role in the spinoff Bosch: Legacy, which premiered in 2022. Her film credits include Newbourne County (2011), Parental Guidance (2012), and After (2012). While living in Alpharetta, she was homeschooled before attending Covenant Christian Academy. Acting runs in her family, with her siblings also pursuing careers in the industry; notably, two of her brothers portrayed the same character at different ages on The Walking Dead. Lintz is recognized for her sustained television roles, having developed her acting career from childhood into adulthood, all while training and growing up in Alpharetta.
