The Johns Creek City Council has approved a reduction in the city’s property tax millage rate for Fiscal Year 2025. The new rate is set at 3.492 mills per $1,000 of assessed value, down from the previously advertised 3.646 mills. This rollback rate is defined by law as the rate that keeps property tax revenues neutral across all existing properties within Johns Creek.

Mayor John Bradberry commented on the decision: “By adopting the rollback millage rate of 3.492, we are living within our means and will remain the lowest millage rate by far of any city in Fulton County.  The City’s fiscal conservatism and adherence to wise financial policies and best practices have put us in the strongest financial position in the City’s history. Even with the adoption of the rollback rate, we will continue to make improvements to the quality of life in Johns Creek.”

Further details about the 2025 millage rate and information regarding the proposed FY2026 Budget can be found on the city website.
