On Saturday, May 17, former The Mount Vernon School standout Landon Brice’s current collegiate team the Chicago Maroons won 9-1 against the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
The game took place at Gustie Baseball Field at 3:45 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties in the tournament.
The Chicago Maroons’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Gustie Baseball Field.
